Welcome to the Fort Collins Archery Association!
The Fort Collins Archery Association is a group of people united by an interest in archery. Our membership includes both active bowhunters and target archers who have never hunted. We maintain for the public the Fort Collins outdoor archery range on land owned by the City of Fort Collins Parks and Recreation Department. We also work with local organizations and businesses to provide support for youth archery programs, sponsor benefit shoots and host competitions. This web site is the clearing house for all things related to archery in the Fort Collins area!

FCAA 2008 Membership Shoot
April 26, 2008
As registration began, the wind was out of the northwest at 35 mph, gusting to 40 mph. The temperature dropped to around 34° F and it started snowing -- horizontally. It’s possible that the snow and nearly 0° F wind chill had something to do with the less than robust turnout for the annual FCAA membership shoot, but a few hardy souls made it. Probably all bowhunters – they’ll come out in any kind of weather!
The crowd picked up substantially at around noon, without question due to Bobbi Magers’ barbecued beef brisket lunch. This year it was all-you-can-eat. No surprise there. Try as we might, there was still some brisket left over after lunch.
President Michel Magers presided over our annual meeting, used mostly to highlight the contributions of key members during the past year and present the new slate of officers. With a few minor changes, it’s the usual suspects and the slate was approved unanimously. We’ll be posting the new officers soon on our web site.

FCAA Logo Merchandise Now Available at Cabela's
Almost any clothing product sold by Cabela's can now be ordered with the FCAA Bowhunter logo embroidered on it. The cost* is $8.00 per item for the color logo (30011861) and $5.00 per item for the monochromatic logo (30011920).
Ordering instructions:
- You must set up an account to actually order anything. You can step through the process of adding things to the cart with an account, but when you try to check out it makes you create one. This is not a special account, just the usual e-mail address and password that you probably already have.
- Cabela's can embroider a logo on almost any clothing product they list in their web site. If you have questions about something, contact Cabela's customer support (see below).
- You will need to enter the logo number. They also need to know the logo name, which is “Fort Collins Archery."?
- You can order the silhouette logo in any color of thread, so if you are ordering a black hat you can specify in the comment area that you want the thread to be white, yellow or whatever. That makes it much more usable on different items.
- It's better to put too much information in the comment area than too little. If you are unsure if you are selecting the right location, just spell it out in the comment area. For example, "logo is to be horizontal, high up on the shoulder." Cabela's will put it just about anywhere as long as you give them good directions -- and if it will fit.
- To add a logo, be sure to check the “add logo"? item in the box where you are selecting color and size before adding it to your shopping cart.
- The logo charge will not show up when you are checking out – it will just show up on your credit card account. That means you have to add it in yourself in your head so you know what you will really be charged.
- Our color logo is too big (just slightly) to be put on a hat. If you want a hat, you have to select the silhouette logo.
- Single-item orders are fine – no extra charge.
