Passing of Jim Widmier

Recently the archery community lost one of it’s biggest supporters, Jim Widmier (Owner and operator of Arrow Dynamics, later moved to Jax.)  There will be a memorial service at the old Arrow Dynamics Building at 9AM on Saturday, August 3rd at the old Arrow Dynamics building: 2536 Midpoint Drive, Fort Collins.

 
Below is the text of the official obituary:
James Hugh Widmier, 67, passed away unexpectedly July 18, 2013, after suffering a heart attack. The first of two sons, Jim was born in Hugo, Colorado to Hugh Eddison and Katheryn Dorine Widmier. Jim graduated from Hugo High School in 1964 and from CSU in 1969. Jim is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his sons Derek and Jon, Jon’s wife Cathy and grandchildren Paige and Claire; his brother John and wife Mary; nephews Geoff, Todd, Ryan and their families; Helen Anderson; Patricia Widmier-Ketchum; and his faithful dog Cadee. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013, at 9:00 am, at the old Arrow Dynamics building, 2536 Midpoint Drive, Fort Collins, CO, 80525. Friends, relatives, hunting partners, and former customers are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fort Collins Archery Association, PO Box 270493, Fort Collins, CO, 80527. The family of Jim wishes to thank Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE for their assistance and support.
