Fort Collins Outdoor Archery Range
Located on the Interstate 25 frontage road east of Fort Collins, the FCAA outdoor archery range is one of the finest around. This range, except for the picnic shelter, was built and is maintained by the FCAA. The land belongs to the City of Fort Collins Parks and Recreation Department and the range is open to the public from safe shooting light in the morning, until safe shooting light in the evening.
Forty one targets are available for practice shooting. Twenty two targets are at unmarked distances on a walk-around trail and feature faces of various game animals. Fifteen are standard practice targets at measured distances from 10 to 100 yards and four are on the FITA range at 30, 50, 70 and 90 meters. Blunts and broadheads are not allowed on the practice targets but may be used at the broadhead pit, a separate section of the range with a sand backstop. Crossbows may not be used at all and are actually illegal to shoot on the FCAA range. Restroom facilities and a covered picnic area are also available. Please read our range rules for detailed information about use of this facility.
